(You can skip to the end for the good news.)

My mom was talking to me before she left for work. We got my school bill in the mail and she wanted to know when it was due. I told her it came in the mail it should say, she said it didn’t. She wanted to know if she could pay it in January. The bill is for December though and all the payments are due the 13th, which is how it has always been, although she’s never really paid them on the due date that often.

Anyways I have told them previously I finish up in January. I have one last class that needs paid for. So we have $1400 something due in January and this is only December, even though I have not told them the exact amount. I have told them the last class needs paid for, and it only makes sense if it is December there will be a bill for January.

The other thing is though; a while back she asked me what I was going to do. If I was going to look into more schooling or a job, in the past she has mentioned me going on Social Security. I do not want to go on Social Security it just isn’t easy for me to get a job, when all I do is baby-sit all week long.

I am looking to transfer to the Associates Program for Graphic Design after my current class ends, so I will not get my diploma because I did not complete the last course, but an Associates > Diploma. The thing is though, I will have more work which I can defiantly manage, and keeping up with some of the classes because of dialup could be an issue though.

The other thing is the unknown costs and how much I will be able to cover. I am trying to apply for scholarships and find ones that will work for me, I really need to hit them hard during my month off for Christmas break. There are always student loans, and I will be managing those better this time around. Around $1700 went down the drain from getting checks for supplies and such, when the money ended up getting borrowed by family…

One thing is though my cousin, who’s kid I am always watching is going back to school. So when she needs to study or do class, I am going to be watching the kid and if I have twice as many classes… I don’t know.

Finding a job would be great but with babysitting, a possible full course load, her going back to school, and the economy, I have not had any luck finding a job and managing it seems nigh to impossible.

[Good News Below!!!]

There is good news though, after my mom asked me about that stuff I went through all those thoughts at like a million miles per hour. Then she said “Your one gift should be coming in the mail tomorrow, and you can get a couple pair of jeans/clothes, maybe a game too.”

So that was quite a shock! I was quite clueless what she was talking about though, if you know by now I wanted a 360. My sister just got home and confirmed it, even though I didn’t know for sure. She asked where I was going to hook the thing up at.

Hey! And because I'm too lazy to hit you with this question in class, have you ever heard of/read The Dresden Files series? ([link])

Living is integral to the story.

"And what is that?"
"Oh, that's just a form of mild dementia."

If I'm not paranoid, something must be wrong.

Lol. I'm too lazy to check DA. Yeah I've heard of Dresden. Watched it on Sci-Fi... I heard the series wasn't as good as the reading.
:iconfaraleigh:
I'm so sorry you watched the show. They utterly destroyed the series by making that. I would highly recommend looking into the books if you're interested in a good fantasy/detective read.

Yeah I didn't follow the series too much and wasn't really interested in it that much. If anything the series introduced me into a new series I'd like to read. I just bought a few books today, I'll have to look into Dresden later on.

I recommend the Dresden books to everyone I meet who likes the fantasy genre. I came in on book two and didn't stop reading until I'd passed 100 pages. I'm glad to hear you didn't really follow the show. They took the author's name way too literally.
